Biography
Tom, an Associate with Calcagni & Kanefsky, focuses his practice on business litigation and corporate investigations, as well as criminal and regulatory defense. Having litigated at global Am Law 100 law firms, Tom is experienced in navigating complex civil litigation and all manner of internal investigations.
Prior Experience
Before joining Calcagni & Kanefsky, Tom served as a judicial clerk for United States District Judge Kevin McNulty in the District of New Jersey, and for Associate Justice Anne Patterson of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Tom worked as an associate attorney at two global, Am Law 100 law firms, representing companies and individuals in high-stakes criminal and regulatory investigations and enforcement matters, internal investigations, and civil litigation.
Recognition and Involvement
Tom is committed to serving the community, regularly volunteering his time for New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Project (NJLEEP), which empowers youth to perform at high academic levels by building academic and social-emotional skills, creating opportunities to develop the habits for success, and ensuring students have exposure to the professionalism needed in college and beyond. Tom focuses his pro bono practice in the area of immigration rights, representing clients from Catholic Charities and Kids In Need of Defense (KIND).
