Emily began her career as a Summer Associate with Calcagni & Kanefsky, assisting in cases across each of CK’s practice areas.

• Represents clients in complex commercial litigation, facilitating case progression through substantive research, discovery synthesis, and motion practice.
• Serves on CK team representing individuals and businesses in employment disputes under state and federal laws.
• Serves on CK team representing Fortune 500 healthcare client in federal and state complex litigation.

Before law school, Emily served in the AmeriCorps VISTA program. Through her efforts as a Community Engagement Coordinator for Jersey City Community Solutions, she helped expand nonprofit opportunities for those sentenced to community service, ensuring defendants greater and more impactful ways to fulfill their service obligations.

While in law school, Emily was recognized for contributing over 50 pro bono hours with the Housing Justice Project in Seton Hall Law’s Center for Social Justice. She also provided pro bono settlement representation in the District of New Jersey under Seton Hall Law’s prestigious Conflict Management Program.
